Vivek Bahl

Vivek Bahl, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist serving patients at Capitol Cardiology Associates in Lanham, Bowie, and Laurel, Maryland. 

In 1994, Dr. Bahl received his doctoral degree from Delhi University in New Delhi, Indiana. He completed his residency program at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Lake Arbor, Maryland. 

In 2001, Dr. Bahl completed his medical training at Georgetown University Medical Center's internal medicine program as a chief resident in Washington, D.C. He continued training at Georgetown University's cardiovascular fellowship program. 

Dr. Bahl trained at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, completing the cardiology program in coronary and peripheral vascular intervention in 2006. Since then, he has been working as a cardiologist in the Maryland area. 

Dr. Bahl joined Capitol Cardiology Associates as a partner in 2010. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology with privileges in Luminis Health Doctors Community Hospital, University of Maryland Capital Regional Health and Washington Adventist Hospital.

His clinical interests include the management of angina, congestive heart failure, and peripheral vascular disease.
