Raj Shetty

Raj Shetty, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist at Capitol Cardiology Associates in Lanham and Bowie, Maryland. He specializes in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, interventional cardiology, and cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Shetty moved back to the Maryland area in 2006 and has worked as a cardiologist ever since. In 2010, he joined the Capitol Cardiology Associates team as a partner. He is now serving as president of Capitol Cardiology Associates. 

Dr. Shetty has privileges in Luminis Health Doctors Community Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, University of Maryland Capital Regional Health, Washington Adventist Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. 

Dr. Shetty has over a decade worth of experience. He looks forward to treating both new and existing patients at his office at Capitol Cardiology Associates.

Outside of work, Dr. Shetty has several interests. He enjoys photography, biking, and traveling to remote places! Dr. Shetty is married and the father of two handsome sons.
