Originally from Teipei, Taiwan, Dr. Ko attended Teipei Medical College where he graduated with his Medical degree in 1972.
Upon graduating, Dr. Ko moved to the United States where he completed his Internship, Residency, and Fellowship in Cardiology at Alleghany General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1978, he joined an internal medicine and cardiology private practice. To continue his dedication to patient care in the practice of cardiology, he co-founded Capitol Cardiology Associates, P.A. in 1991. Dr. Ko is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease,interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. |

| He is also a Fellow of American College of Cardiology, as well as a Fellow of American College of Physicians. |

| Dr. Ko has served the Washington, D.C. metroplitan area for over 25 years. He has provided superior cardiovascular care as an invasive interventional cardiologist in the D.C. area. Today, he is a well-respected staff member at Doctors Community Hospital, Washington Adventist Hospital, and Prince George's Hospital Center. In addition, he is Co-Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Doctors Community Hospital as well as the Chairman of the Pharmacy Committee. |
